Week 15: PHP and Drupal

This week we wrapped up our 3 weeks of PHP  – and the reality is, we have only just scratched the surface of this scripting language and what it is capable of. Never will we learn everything when it comes to this stuff…

We continued applying it with a MySQL database, as well as seeing some of its various capabilities – manipulating images, creating PDFs, all of which we only had but a glimpse. We also were tasked with adding additional security by including other open source applications of PHP like Captcha – that (sometimes irritating) little warped picture containing text that you must decipher, and type in correctly in order to actually proceed with what it is you’re attempting.
